Initiated by Mr. Weiguang Zhou, Chinese representative of Israel Grove Ventures, and led by ZSVC Chief Executive Officer Yeyu Hua, ZSVC delegation of LP representatives and partners visited Sino-Israel Industrial Incubator—CI3 Incubator on May 5th, 2016. Located in West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park in Changzhou, CI3Incubator is a Sino-Israel cooperation theme park approved by National Development and Reform Commission.
CEO of Sino-Israel Industrial Incubator Mr. Elan introduced the operation and project overview of CI3 industrial incubator. He pointed out that it provided low-cost, convenient and full-element entrepreneurship service platform for Israel entrepreneurs and Israel enterprises that have just entered China. In addition, it has established “venture nurseries- incubator-accelerator” incubation chain to provide compete flow of specialized services for start-up enterprises. Great efforts will be made to build an incubator for sci-tech enterprises, a high-end industrial incubation base, high-level innovative and entrepreneurship talent aggregation base, hi-tech achievement transformation base, high-end achievement transformation base and high-end service industry demonstrative base.
In the exchanges, Yeyu Hua indicated that Israel has created one “economical legend”, “technological legend” and “military legend” after another and has been regarded as world innovation works with per capita GDP of over USD 30,000, while China has broad market and powerful manufacturing ability. Both parties are highly complementary for cooperation. By visiting Changzhou this time, he hoped the Chinese party might learn the cultural essence and innovative spirit of Israeli and explored to establish VC funds and M&C funds for Sino-Israel cooperation.
Accompanied by Mr. Elan, the visiting delegation visited Israel CI3 incubator, which was a key project jointly developed by the park and Israel PTL company and provided one-station professional service for the Israel enterprises settled in the park. So far, 8 Israel enterprises, including Tuttnauer, Lytron Liquid Cooling Cycle, Ted Titel Automotive Electronics have settled here.
Then, the delegation went to Israel cultural center to closely experience the endemic culture and innovation history of Israel and have a in-depth understanding of the innovation cases involved in LOT IoT, cloud technology and digital health field. In the final link for introduction of investment and M&A environment in Israel, both parties made an in-depth discussion on regional advantages, industrial development and management modes. The members of the delegation were very much impressed and hoped that more in-depth exchanges would be carried out in the future on the cooperation in respects of projects and funds.
